BILLING

This clinic is a bulk-billing clinic for patients with a valid Medicare card, however there are some services that will require pre-payment.

There are some out of pocket fees for dressing consumables, vaccines, full body skin cancer checks, iron infusions and procedures.

Please see our friendly reception staff for more information regarding these services.

Patients without a valid Medicare card will be required to pay the following fees prior to their consultation:

Basic consult      –             $50.00

Long Consult     –             $130.00

Workcover patients are required to pay prior to each consultation until such time as you are able to provide a valid claim number & insurance details for your current injury claim.

AFTER HOURS

We have a designated after hours locum agency Doctor Doctor – 13 22 60

For any emergencies please attend the casualty/emergency department at your nearest hospital or call 000.

HOME VISITS

We offer home visits to our patients under exceptional circumstances. Please speak to your GP if you would like further information.

TEST RESULTS

Due to privacy issues test results cannot be given over the phone. Please make an appointment to see your doctor to obtain any test results. If any urgent or irregular results come in your doctor will arrange for you to be contacted to make an appointment.

RECALLS/REMINDERS

The doctors in this clinic will send recall/reminder texts/letters to patients for follow up consultations or for the collection of test results if left for a period.

Patients can register for Diabetic Register, Pap Screening & Aged Care Assessments. Once registered, patients are routinely recalled.

TELEPHONE CALLS

As it is difficult to interrupt a doctor when in consultation with a patient, you will most likely be asked to leave a message. This message will be sent to the doctor using our internal electronic message system. Emergency calls will be taken where possible.

PATIENT INFORMATION

Information collected by this clinic is accessible only to medical practitioners. We have patient transfer forms on site for you to complete & sign if you wish to have your files sent to a doctor at this clinic. Patients can arrange for a copy of their medical records to be sent from this clinic by completing a transfer of medical records form at their clinic of choice.
